Have you dialed into the mycelium network
Where the roots of regal trees
Play footsie with the fungi
And whisper breathy teases
To the freesias in the breeze
Seizing grassy fields
Between the swaying pussy willows
Under shaking oak leaves’ shadows
Cast from play of Sun’s love beams?
If you want to know about data and electricity
About the greenest energy that’s ever been
Ask the squirrels scurrying up the bark of the burly birch
To appease their ample appetites
Mouths full of sweet acorn bounty
Filling any branch with ease
Get connected with the mushroom
And the truffle
And the yeast
Oh great fungus
That’s among us
Spread far and wide
Beneath our feet
I send my love
Into the network
Between the fungus
And the trees

Somewhere swimming
In seas of dreams
Between mushroom teas
On transcendent beaches
Perfect Autumn, ocean scenes
Miami, coax the skies to swing
Where music sweeps
Transcendent peeps
To dance with art
To stop and breathe
Will you drink some tea with me?
Will you let the fungus in
To open up the channels
Where your soul needs slight corrections?
Don’t get lost on imperfections
It’s the trap of misdirection
Where you are paying more attention
To what is wrong
Than what is right
Oh dear mushroom, shine the light
Embrace my body, soul and mind
And if we give enough sweet time
Together, make a better life
One day, we realize
It’s not just a world of humankind
Because the fungus is a friendThat may not talk to us in rhyme
But if you find the one that does
It could completely change your mind
Because I found the ones that do
And we write poems, all the time
Please come drink a mushroom tea
And laugh the day away with me
We could be so completely free
Come, let’s enjoy a mushroom tea

Swims in a sea
Of celestial whispers
Of Love sweet sugar honey
Think I missed a heartbeat, sister
Honeysuckle moonbeams
Dancing in my Love dreams
Night surrounds us
In deepness of this beastly, jungle heat
Crazy beats kicking from the silly system
Kinda like Blissmass in the midst of May’s refrained retreat
June waits to dance
Into Summer’s lovely entrance
Woman, take my hand
Your warmth parts my inner tensions
Did I forget to mention
The stars cry to shine in your eyes?
Never say “goodbye”
To the revelers of this Night
We will burst into the Light
Together holding tightly
As the Sunrise royally knights you
